It's that time of year again. Snow is fallin', excitement is mountin', and the elves here at the North Pole are busier than ever. Through all of our toymaking, a topnotch team of elves decided to organize a spectacular Secret Santa for all you wonderful folks here on deviantART. Welcome to:

The Second Annual Secret Santa

As always, us elves have to work super-speedy to get everything done in time for Christmas each year- so many children, so little time! This will, of course, apply to this Secret Santa gift exchange as well. We only have so much time to get everyone signed up- so be sure to tell everyone you know about our little 'secret,' so that word will spread fast, and we can spread the joy to everyone!

Letters and announcements will begin being sent out immediately, to recruit many members for this great event. The timing schedule will be as follows:

November 1rd: Recruitment/Joining Begins
November 20th: Joining Ends
November 27th: Gift assignments will be sent out; all helpers can begin working on their gift
December 25th: Note your giftees with your gift! And I'll post a list of pairs. Merry Christmas!

JOINING OPENS NOVEMBER 1st!
To participate in the exchange, there are three easy steps to follow:

Send a NOTE to us titled "Join" that includes what you would like drawn for you (this can include ref sheet links to OCs, other existing characters, or wishlist journal links- just so your secret santa has an idea of what to draw)
Watch us to receive updates
Advertise! The more people that join, the more fun this gift exchange will be. Include one of the plugs on the sidebar in your journal to let your friends know about us!

10/30/2009 In case you hadn't already noticed, I've decided to definitely go through with the 2009 edition of the exchange. Hurray~! I will begin accepting joining notes on November 1st- since I'm not a meanieface I will accept the few errant notes that have already trickled in, but PLEASE wait until the 1st to send your note! Organization is key to running this massive beast without getting a migraine (especially since I'm a masochist and run it all on my lonesome) so you'd really be helping me out~ Merry Christmastime! (and dare I mention our rival holiday, but... (almost) Happy Halloween, as well! )
10/26/2009 If you want to *The-North-Pole Secret Santa 2009, comment here! It takes a ton of work and a teensy bit of money (subscription), so I only want to if people are interested. Tell all your friends, too! I really enjoyed making a great secret santa experience for ya'll last year, so I'd love doing it again.
